Excellent value hotel for the money. The Stables is ideally located for taking day trips to all the North Wales attractions, all easily reachable within an hour by car. We stayed in a family room which was spacious clean and well presented with nice modern bathroom. The room was serviced nicely every day. As the rooms are built as an annex to the original stables building, all guest rooms are on the ground floor so there was no sound from the other rooms. The Stables is in a quiet country location at the edge of Snowdonia with several good restaurants nearby, Caernarfon is just 10 minutes drive away. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. We are a family of 4 with 9 year old twins and stayed at The Stables for 3 nights in one of the family rooms. The daily room service was excellent. Our stay included breakfast served in the Hotel Bistro. Breakfast consisted of a fantastic buffet breakfast bar the twins loved this because they could help themselves, we also had the cooked breakfast and were given a choice of what ever we wanted and I must add the table service was excellent. I would have no hesitation in recommending The Stables to others, the owners and staff are very welcoming, friendly and have certainly left an impression on me, I will definitely stay again I must also add because of its location travelling to other popular locations in all directions is so easy.
